Stamp brochure: Lighthouses of Spain

Lighthouses, symbol of light and safety, guide the sailors in their ceaseless fight against the waves. In tribute to them, Correos Filatelia entrusted Tau with this container booklet of nine stamps dedicated to some of the most important colossi of the Spanish coast for the NordPosta fair in Hamburg.

It is written in two languages, Spanish and English, and designed with an overlay and a laser die on the cover that reveals a spectacular photo of the Isla de Mouro lighthouse in Santander.

It is interesting to note that the different styles of line that appear stamped on the cover evoke the codes and luminous messages that the beacons transmit to the sailors and navigators.
