Chess notebook 1

Design and layout of the first of four children’s notebooks of activities to learn to play chess integrated into the material of the subject of mathematics.

For the design of this notebook has been thought of the mechanisms of understanding and learning of children, therefore has been made a set of pieces and boards that work perfectly in small sizes, as well as pieces of support with a child treatment and carefree. With this same criterion, we have worked on the choice of typographies, colours and styles of icons such as “sandwiches”.

Through the use of different graphic resources, the aim is to collaborate so that this chess notebook -a competitive sport that helps to develop many mental abilities and abilities such as concentration, logical reasoning, memory, empathy, creativity and imagination- is adjusted to the age and learning capacity of each child.
