Suma Flamenca 2015

To create the graphics for a Flamenco music festival is a very attractive design challenge. Suma Flamenca, Madrid’s flamenco festival, is perhaps the most complete concert and performance series held in Spain.

Tau Diseño has been designing the graphics for Suma since its first edition.  Flamenco is one of the few art forms where the viewer witnesses the moment when the interpreted music is created; this was the starting point for the concept that Tau Diseño transferred to the graphics. Year after year the graphics have evolved –the 10th edition was celebrated in 2015–, recreating not only the overall approach but also the different applications, from theatre facade backdrops, to advertising in print or the advertising on the back of a city bus.
