Querida Comadre
An exhibition organized by the Federico García Lorca Centre in Granada, showing works and papers documenting the relationship between Pilar López, Argentinita, and the poet. The exhibition was developed from a handwritten letter that Federico García Lorca wrote to Argentinita in the summer of 1931, accompanied by the “Lady with a mulberry tree mantilla” drawing and a bullfighting poster implying an allusion to Ignacio Sánchez Mejías (a Spanish bullfighter, writer and sympathetic personality to artists of the time).
Tau Diseño created a coordinated graphic direction comprised of exterior banners, catalogue, programmes, posters and captions to accompany the different areas of the exhibition.
Client: Fundación La Argentinita for the Federico García Lorca Centre
